This sweater is made from chunky wool knit and has a slightly oversized fit. It has a v-neck and long sleeves. You can combine it easily with your daily outfit and it will keep you warm for sure!
This wool item is hand knitted in a women empowerment project in Nepal. After marriage, most Nepalese women move in with their in-laws and take care of them. It’s not common for them to have a job. This women empowerment project offers them the opportunity to hand knit the garments at home. Studio JUX, owned by two female entrepreneurs, simply loves projects that make women more independent!
‘JUX’ literally means ‘fun’ or ‘having a laugh’ in German. According to Jitske Lundgren and Carlien Helmink fashion and a sustainable lifestyle should be fun for everyone. For the designers, people working in the factory and everyone wearing and using the products. The handshake inside each garment introduces you to the Nepali tailor who made it.
