About the necklace
This necklace is made from small shiny glass beads. The necklace is very subtle and easy to combine. You can take the necklace double to have a shorter version.
This item is handmade in a women empowerment project in Nepal. After marriage, most Nepalese women move in with their in-laws and take care of them. It’s not common for them to have a job. This women empowerment project offers training on the job for different kinds of handicrafts techniques. Studio JUX, owned by two female entrepreneurs, simply loves projects that make women more independent!

‘JUX’ literally means ‘fun’ or ‘having a laugh’ in German. According to Jitske Lundgren and Carlien Helmink fashion and a sustainable lifestyle should be fun for everyone. For the designers, people working in the factory and everyone wearing and using the products. The handshake inside each garment introduces you to the Nepali tailor who made it.
